With the crazy times that the Coronavirus has caused, FITBENCH continues to be part of the solution for boutique fitness studios.
FIT Austin in Austin, TX recently added FITBENCH to its small space. With the safety guidelines in place, it has been difficult for some fitness studios to adapt. FIT Austin, however, has been able to push through and stay strong. Lateef Johnson, the owner of FIT Austin, created a new studio environment with the 6-feet distanced featuring FITBENCH STUDIOs and sanitizing kits.
Even with the eased capacity going from 50% to 75%, Johnson mentioned that FIT Austin still only has so much square footage. “The capacity is one part of it, but we do keep people at six feet or better apart, so we are a small boutique studio and looking to find that space to allow for more people might be a little challenging,” Johnson said.
The FITBENCH STUDIO gives each member their own workout station. Included in each station is the bench itself (which offers eight different elevation positions), four sets of dumbbells, one slam ball, and a set of FITBANDS. Johnson has created workout classes around the benches and its equipment.
