Gather Athletic Club Creates a More Inclusive Boxing Experience with FITBAG

When Gather Athletic Club opened in September 2026, the team wanted to offer a variety of fitness experiences that would appeal to both newcomers and seasoned athletes. Its new boxing studio presented an opportunity to introduce a fresh approach to group training.

As one of the first clubs to bring FITBAG into its facility, Gather Athletic Club installed nine units in its boxing studio. Unlike traditional boxing bags, FITBAG allows users to train without gloves, removing a common barrier for those who may be new to boxing or simply prefer a more convenient workout option.

Since opening, the studio has seen encouraging responses from its members, validating the decision to incorporate FITBAG from the beginning. The design also removes the logistical challenges of providing and maintaining shared boxing gloves, helping the team streamline studio operations.

The added benefit has been that we no longer have to worry about renting and cleaning gloves. Our members and guests can choose to bring their own gloves & wraps, purchase some, or they can choose to leave them at home.
